Laundry Timer

A two-stage laundry timer that counts down your wash cycle, reminds you to move clothes to the dryer, then times the dry cycle — so you never leave a load sitting wet.

What Is a Laundry Timer?

A laundry timer is a two-stage countdown built for the way a load of washing actually moves through your machines. Instead of guessing when the washing machine will finish, you start the timer with your wash cycle. When the wash ends, the timer chimes a laundry reminder to move clothes to the dryer, then automatically counts down the dry cycle and chimes again when the whole load is done. One timer covers both stages, so you can walk away and trust it to call you back at exactly the right moments.

Never Leave Wet Clothes Sitting Again

The worst part of laundry is not the washing — it is forgetting. A wash cycle finishes, you get distracted, and hours later you open the machine to a load of damp clothes gone musty and sour. This laundry reminder solves that. The moment the wash cycle ends, you hear a chime and see a clear prompt to move clothes to the dryer. There is no window where the load sits wet and unnoticed. When the dry cycle ends, a second chime tells you the laundry is done and ready to fold, so nothing wrinkles into a heap while it cools.

Typical Wash and Dry Times

Most machines fall into a predictable range, and the presets above match the common ones. Use these as a starting point and adjust the wash and dry inputs to fit your own washing machine and dryer.

How to Use the Laundry Timer

Load the washing machine and start it, then pick the preset that matches your cycle or type your own wash and dry minutes. Press Start at the same moment you start the machine. The timer counts down the wash cycle first. When it reaches zero it chimes and switches to the Dry stage with a reminder to move clothes to the dryer — move the load over and let the dry cycle keep counting down. A final chime and a "Laundry is done" message tell you it is time to fold. You can pause and resume anytime, or press Reset to start a fresh load.
