What Is a Teleprompter?
A teleprompter (also called an autocue) scrolls your script in front of you so you can read it while looking straight into the camera. Instead of memorising lines or glancing down at notes, you keep eye contact with your audience and deliver a smooth, confident take. How to Use the Teleprompter
- Add your script - Type or paste your text into the box.
- Set the speed - Use the Speed slider to match how fast you talk. You can adjust it live while recording.
- Size the text - The Font slider makes the words bigger or smaller so they are easy to read from a distance.
- Press Start - The script scrolls smoothly upward. Read the line in the centre guide.
- Go Fullscreen - Hide everything else for a clean, distraction-free view.
Mirror Mode
If you use a proper teleprompter rig with a beam-splitter glass in front of your lens, the reflected text appears reversed. Turn on Mirror to flip the text horizontally so it reads correctly in the glass. Leave it off when reading straight from your screen, phone, or tablet.
