What is a circular timer?
A circular timer shows the time left as a coloured disc that shrinks around a circle, so you can see how much time remains at a glance — no need to read the numbers. It is the classic clock-style visual countdown: the disc sweeps away like a clock hand until it reaches zero. Great for classrooms, focus sessions, presentations, and kids who find a shrinking circle far easier to follow than digits.
How to use it
- Pick a preset or type a custom time (minutes, or
m:ss). - Press Start — the disc begins shrinking clockwise from the top.
- Press ⛶ Fullscreen to fill the whole screen for a room or projector.
- Use Set background to choose a colour or upload your own photo, which is revealed as the disc drains.
- An alarm sounds when the time is up.
Great for
- Classrooms — a big clock-style countdown everyone can read across the room.
- Focus & study — a calm visual countdown circle instead of ticking digits.
- Presentations — fullscreen it on a projector to keep talks on time.
- Kids — a shrinking circle is easy to understand, and you can reveal a favourite photo underneath.
