Common Times From Now
The most searched hours and minutes from now, based on your current local time (now). The list updates live. Click any row to load it into the calculator.
How to Add Hours to the Current Time
Add the hours to the current hour and keep the minutes the same. On a 12-hour clock, every time you pass 12 the period flips between AM and PM, and every time you pass midnight the date moves forward a day. For example, 8 hours from 7:30 PM is 3:30 AM the next morning. The calculator uses your device's clock and time zone, and it accounts for daylight saving time changes automatically.
Quick Shortcuts
- 12 hours from now is the same clock time with AM and PM swapped.
- 24 hours from now is the same time tomorrow.
- 48 hours from now is the same time the day after tomorrow, and 72 hours from now is the same time in three days.
- 36 hours from now is 12 hours past this time tomorrow, so the opposite AM/PM a day and a half later.
- 30 minutes from now is half an hour ahead, and 90 minutes from now is an hour and a half ahead.
Why People Count Hours From Now
Common reasons include knowing when to take the next dose of a medication, when a 24- or 48-hour deadline or delivery window ends, when to wake up after 8 hours of sleep, when a fast or a slow cooker recipe will be done, and what time a flight lands after a long trip.
