How Many Days Have Passed This Year?
This calculator shows you exactly how many days have passed in the current year. Above you can see it two ways: a calendar view that lays out every month and lights up each day as it passes — brighter as you approach today, with today itself marked — and a year ring that sweeps around to show how much of the year is behind you. Hover any day in the calendar to see its date and how far it is from today.
What Day of the Year Is It?
The "day of the year" (also called ordinal date) is a number from 1 to 365 (or 366 in a leap year) that indicates which day it is. For example, January 1st is day 1, February 1st is day 32, and December 31st is day 365.
